About Paloma Gate Services

A Bonita Springs gate company since 2008, run by a manager who still does a lot of the work himself.

How it started

Paloma Gate Services has been a trusted name in Bonita Springs since 2008, handling gate installation, repair and maintenance for homes and businesses across the area. The business started small, built on a straightforward idea: homeowners and property managers in Southwest Florida needed a gate company they could actually rely on, one that would not disappear after the sale or leave jobs half-finished.

Over the years, word of mouth from satisfied customers helped the company grow into a go-to resource for gate repair and installation throughout Bonita Springs and nearby communities. Whether it is a swing gate acting up, a new driveway gate, or routine maintenance on gate openers and access systems, the team shows up on time and gets the job done right the first time.

Declan Hayes, Manager

Declan got into gate work years ago after helping a neighbor fix a busted driveway gate, and found he actually enjoyed figuring out the mechanics of it. One repair led to another, and eventually he turned it into a full business.

He is mostly self-taught, picking up his skills through hands-on jobs and a lot of trial and error early on. What matters most to him is doing the work right the first time and not overcharging people for simple fixes. He is upfront about pricing and will not try to sell you something you do not need.

Declan handles a lot of the jobs himself, so when you call, you are usually talking directly to the person who will show up at your house. He likes keeping things straightforward and treating customers the way he would want to be treated.

How we work

Declan keeps the business grounded in practical, no-nonsense service. In practice that comes down to a few habits.

  • Clear communication. You hear what is wrong in plain words, and what we would do about it.
  • Fair, upfront pricing. The price comes before the work, and a simple fix is charged as one.
  • Only what you need. No new opener when a sensor will do, no new gate when the hinges are the problem.
  • Done right the first time, and finished: no half-done jobs or disappearing after the sale.
  • Safe and smooth long after we leave. Every gate system we touch, manual or automatic, is tested before we go.

That hands-on approach, together with more than a decade of local experience, is what sets Paloma Gate Services apart from bigger, less personal outfits in the region.

You will know it is us

Look for the dark teal and off-white pickup with the gate logo on the door and our number on the bed, the same colors as this website. When it pulls into your driveway, the person getting out is usually the one you spoke to on the phone.

We work in Bonita Springs, Estero, North Naples, San Carlos Park, South Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach, and farther out when the schedule allows. The service area page lists the ZIP codes.

About the company

Will Declan come out himself?

Often, yes. He handles a lot of the jobs himself, and on bigger jobs the crew works with him.

How long has Paloma Gate Services been in business?

Since 2008, in Bonita Springs and the communities around it. That is more than a decade of local gate work, through plenty of wet seasons and hurricane seasons, which is where most of what we know about gates in this climate comes from.

Do you only work on homes?

No. We work for homeowners and for property managers, HOAs and businesses. See residential gates and commercial and property management.

Want to talk to Declan?

Call during our hours and you will usually get him directly. Tell him what the gate is doing, and he will tell you plainly what it needs.
